Family Feud – Jefferson Edition 2019

Family Feud~Jefferson Edition is a gameshow with a local twist. This fundraising event for Jefferson Matters: Main Street will be held on Saturday, April 13 at History Boy Theatre in downtown Jefferson.

Organization committee members announced the four “families” who will square off to vie for the two traveling trophies.

Teresa Wright has gathered an impressive lineup of trivia champions to field their yet-to-be-named team – Ellen Ritter, Amanda Bills, Rhett Brown and Mary Jo Springer.
#PeoplesPeople team captain is Dave Pedersen with Jeri Carstens, Libby Wampler, Angie Gingery and Nikki Uebel planning their strategies for winning one of the valuable trophies for the bank.
GCE (Greene County Elementary) Super Teachers feel confident of their Jefferson knowledge skills with Rhonda Baker as captain and team members Julie Neal, Audrey Hinote, Ashley Miller and Shannon Hansen.
The Greiner family will be entering the field as The Percussion Pod. They expressed that their overall background of the community will be to their benefit with captain Becky Greiner, and family members Amanda Chapman, Andrew Chapman, Ryan Greiner and Granny making up their team.

Master of ceremonies David Hoyt has his work cut out for him as he tries to manage the multitude of personalities involved. This will make for another hilarious evening for the audience. The committee emphasizes that this is an evening out for adults only, please.

Tickets for the event are available now at The Printer’s Box, Home State Bank, Peoples Bank and the Main Street office. Online ticket sales are also available through the Jefferson Matters: Main Street Facebook page. Tickets are $20 each and include light appetizers from various Jefferson eateries with BYOB (bring your own drinks).

Social time begins at 7 pm with the first round of two teams beginning at 8 pm. Desserts will be served during intermission. The second round of two teams will follow. The entertainment also includes four live commercials for local businesses performed by History Boy Theatre cast members throughout the game show.

To conclude the evening, a “Lightning Round” will pit the two winning teams against each other for selection of the traveling trophy of their choice.

This is the third year for this fundraiser for the Jefferson Matters: Main Street program with proceeds going towards their many projects. The public is encouraged to attend.
